How to stream an MP3

Setting up a stream is important because many people do not wish to download music files to their computer and then play them. A Stream allows people to listen to music on your site without downloading. Some computers have trouble with streaming so we offer both streaming and mp3 download for our customers.

This will walk you though how to set up a stream and mp3 on your server for your customers to sample our music.

First, you will need to download our MP3's to your computer.

1) Go to our Sample page and click on the MP3 links. They will download to your computer.

2) Now save those MP3's to your server.

As far as the MP3 part, you are done. A simple link on your website, to your mp3 file, will allow your customers to activate the downloading of an MP3.

How To Stream (I'll use the forever.mp3 as an example)

Open up your favorite text editor, NOTEPAD or WORD is fine. Type in the exact URL, including http://www., to your MP3 on your server.

Example> http://www.yourdomain.com/forever.mp3

Save this document as forever.ram Not forever.txt

And you are done. :-)

Save your forever.ram to your server.

A simple link on your website, to your forever.ram file, will call the .ram file which in turn will play the mp3 for people without it downloading onto their computer :-)
